Inode, Obama earned my respect before his presidency because of his ability to run campaigns and take advantage of the goodwill that the media was giving him. Defeating the Clintons in the primaries was no easy accomplishment.

Once Obama became president, however, he threw away the immense political capital he amassed during the campaign. That was astonishing to me, and after several years of "learning on the job," it was clear to me that he wasn't willing to do just that. Blaming an intransigent Congress gets old really quickly, as the budget battles demonstrated.

You can see that even Obama's supporters are struggling to cover for him. Ted, for instance, confirmed that he will support Obama simply because he is black.
