I don't think it works that way. Previous decisions can only be overturned by new cases. So a case would have to make it to the SC. I forget just how the court decides to take a case but, assuming a liberal majority, let's assume the case would be accepted. Then, given the specifics of that case, would it be straightforward to generalize it to, say, overturn the United case. If so, it might happen. But that would depend on the specific political skills of the liberal justices. Breyer is always an outlier on these things.
