7/2/14 At Last someone with guts to damn en todo what we in the vernacular call Mafia. Organized crime doesn't seem evil, it is EVIL I think this damning , he is using this group to damn all organized crime. No mercy for the hard core dedicated mobsters, they are evil. And a note to someone that named his group "Bad Lieutenant" If he chose that name from the movie "Bad Lieutenant" because he liked it and its theme of unlimited forgiveness for the most heinous of crimes, as that is in accordance with the directors unreal/imaginary Jesus---that theme is BS and the movie one of the worst movies I ever endured. I endured it because of Harvey Keitel, and I can only hope Keitel was embarrassed for the part he played--- I struck Keitel off my list of first rate actors post haste. I am so glad James Gandolfini said that after the last show he experienced the joy of being free of having to play the worthless evil scum of the character of Tony Soprano. He did it, because the two times he quit, they offered him money that would set his family for life. This is dedicated to the millions that have grown up in the organized crime breeding grounds, and refused. They far out number those that became hard core dedicated gangsters--meaning those that be rotten to the core. Those that think Frank Sinatra was a mafia afficiando, truth was he despised them, they just gathered around him like flies.
youtube.com Small example of this global epidemic, from drug cartels to organized crime's sex trade slavery (adult and children) and on and on.
Pope Francis attacks 'evil' mafia in 'Ndrangheta base
Pope Francis addressed a crowd of tens of thousands in Calabria
Pope Francis has condemned the mafia's "adoration of evil" at a mass in Calabria, the southern Italian base of the 'Ndrangheta crime syndicate.
The Pope said the gangsters were effectively "excommunicated" - or banished - in the eyes of the Church.
Earlier, the Pope visited the jailed father of a three-year-old boy who had been killed in an apparent mob hit over an unpaid drug debt.
The Pope has repeatedly spoken out against organised crime and corruption.
His latest condemnation, delivered before a crowd of tens of thousands, described the 'Ndrangheta as the "adoration of evil and contempt of the common good".
"Those who in their lives follow this path of evil, as mafiosi do, are not in communion with God," the Reuters news agency quoted him as saying. "They are excommunicated."

Former mobster Sal Polisi says the Pope is right to expose "ruthless, greedy criminals"
It is one of the most powerful mafia organisations in Italy, along with the Sicilian Cosa Nostra and the Neapolitan Camorra.
Earlier on Saturday, the Pope visited a prison to meet the jailed relatives of "Coco" Campolongo, a three-year-old boy who was killed along with his grandfather in an execution-style shooting in Calabria.
"It must never again happen that a child suffers in this way," the Pope said.
The Pope also met hundreds of other inmates at Castrovillari prison, many of whom are serving time for mafia-related crimes.
The AFP news agency reports that many of the prisoners wept as the Pope greeted them.
