Hey Robert...........I've been pretty sharp about my criticism of GM. You are a good contributor to this board with some good investment ideas. So don't take my comments personally. In recent years corporate responsibility has taken a back seat to corporate greed. And its not just GM....there is a list of companies whose motto has been...."greed is good", and if it helps the bottom line all the better. Good hunting on your Alaska trip. Note... I had a Chevy blazer with well over 100,000 miles on it. No key was needed to start it. Just turn the switch. I got thinking about it, because I had to lock my vehicle every time I left it. Finally I came to the conclusion that if someone stole this Blazer they would be doing me a favor. So I stopped locking the vehicle....and the auto thieves came to the conclusion that they weren't that desperate for transportation. At 240,000 miles the vehicle got recycled.
