These kids aren't innocent, since they are here illegally, whether they know it or not. Maybe we need pictures of scared kids showing up on Central American TV to stem their flow. We can't be the lifeboat for the world, nor even the western hemisphere. It would have been better if we dumped them on their embassies, or on planes back home, on Day 1, to make people realize they can't just come here. Conditions around the world will only get worse . Lots of kids will get hurt. Lots of young yeasties die when their petri dish is depleted, along with the old yeasties. There would be a million Egyptians and Syrians coming across, if not for oceans. There would be millions of Africans. By rights, all the displaced Iraqis should be given homes and pottery barn franchises here.
