Sycamore let me give you two reason why oil companies sit on news or work in a cloak of secrecy.

1. Let's say you have a prospect that borders on your lease. The adjoining lease hasn't been awarded yet. Do you want folks to know that you field is a good or great prospect, while trying for that concession?

2. This lease is unusual that AIPN has to relinquish 90%. They are allowed to bid for it in an open bid process. Do you want other companies to knwo too much and get outbid???

Security at oil companies offices that relate to exploratin are very tight. They are very sensitive about leakage, as I've stated before. I'm not surprised by any of this and as disconcerting as it is, very necessary for alot of differing reasons.
