Now that is something I can agree with.. Time for EVERYONE to pay "Their fair share"... Forget income taxes and assert a "VAT" / Federal Sales Tax. A Federal Sales Tax assures that EVERYONE PAYS THEIR FAIR SHARE! No matter if you earned you money "under the table" or from you weekly pay check... Taxes are still accessed at the Cash Register. Most states already do it via State Sales Taxes. A consumption based Federal Tax would ENCOURAGE SAVINGS... You know... SAVINGS.. the thing someone requires to acquire wealth. I could give a rat's arse about a rising GDP, that'S Liberal Jibber-Jabber.. I care that people take "self-responsibility" and SAVE MONEY to build wealth and personal security and financial stability. The Libs want people to earn more money so they can blow it on soon-to-be worthless trinkets to inflate GDP. Conservatives want people to work hard / SAVE / and take self-responsibility for their actions so that they don't become mindless and wait to Govt to tell them which brand of deodorant to use.
