I look at as an INTRUSIVE abuse of my time to even have to push an extra button to pay just as I REFUSE to give money to anyone who calls my home asking for it.... I tell those I give to that if they call my home rather than send mail, I will cut them off for future donations. Scammers asking for money through US mail are committing a federal crime so they usually avoid it.
