You made my argument with that one sentence.

"The problem is that no matter what we do or DON'T do in the Middle East, we will be blamed for everything that goes on there. How do you deal "pragmatically" with an enemy that has suicidal maniacs willing to die for their "72 virgins"?"

Bush and Cheney gave us the "impression" that we could go into Iraq and everything would be wonderful.

But YOU in that one sentence have summed up everything that those guys never considered although the State Department was trying to tell them exactly that BEFORE they went in there.

THAT's why I believe Bush CAUSED this whole mess...
