Yup. More than I thought they would. And they came on top of that very expensive Olympics.

That is key. The Euros should have weaned themselves much sooner. I love when my German friends start mumbling when I ask them questions on this topic, or worse, try to defend Putin. The Germans esp fooled themselves for way too long about Putin and the Russians IMO.

That's good too. I sure Putin's rich, oligarch buds are having a fit.
