There are many quadrillions of planets out there despite the fact these two turned out not to be ones. With that as the backdrop, I don't see how there can not be many, many highly evolved civilizations in the universe. So why have we not been visited? Are the distances so vast that no technology can overcome them? And I understand it may be wise to be careful for what I wish. Still.
