Here's the best proof that the Republican caricature of Elizabeth Warren is utterly bunk. Warren just headlined a rally over the weekend with Alison Grimes, the Democrat running to defeat Republican Sen. Mitch McConnell, and it was a smash hit:

The Warren appearance was greeted byan overwhelming crowd that with a line that stretched at least three blocksSunday morning from the campus venue, the Red Barn.

Head below the fold for many more photos of this great event.

Warren's populist progressive message is a popular one, and Grimes wouldn't have invited her to conservative Kentucky if that weren't so.

Warren spoke about the need for student loan reform, a pressing issue for countless Americans in all states, red or blue:

That line just went on and on, by the way:

So no surprise it was a capacity crowd:

And standing-room only:

They couldn't get enough:

Let's do this thing—together.

Elizabeth Warren's populist message resonates in Kentucky!
And how great is it that she's beating up on Mitch McConnell in the marquee race of the 2014 election year?
