There's no doubt we are going to walk down the board (not narrow) path of carving out religious exceptions to federal laws; not just the ACA and not just contraception. As far as I'm concerned, this is not an argument about legal points but rather one of the very dangerous consequences of the Supreme Court's choice of Bush in the 2000 election. Had Gore won, Roberts and Alito would not be on the court. Period. And we would not be carving out special privileges for religion. So much for the wall between church and state.
