Yes. many of the countries there are. They messed up with the euro and with all the extra spending.


No, Tim, they are messed up because of the cut in spending.

The EU did exactly what you all recommended...........curtained spending.

They spent too much before the recession.

No, Tim, the blame wasn't always on excessive gov't spending; to whit, Spain. The private sector totally screwed up in Spain........and in other countries as well..........just like in the US.

Also many of the countries where not very restrained in spending after the crisis hit. For some their "austerity" was higher taxes.

No, Tim, many of those countries were run by conservatives who cut spending..........just like you would have done.
