Bobby why? First many on this thread believed long before Asian crisis that expansion cycle is unsustainable and more so lasted much longer than it should, with enormous excesses being in place. Now when crisis upon us with Techs slowing, $ is so high that tourism to this country should be curtailed sharply, especially from Japan, hitting
hotel/service sector, full-employment bound to exert pressures sooner or later and if no inflation, but rather deflation unemployment will rise hitting consumer confidence, competition from Asian imports should hit Mom & Pop operations particularly hard, expansion cycle
should be curtailed. Do you think that Asia problem is a temporary one and should lead to qiuck correction with resumption of the growth
and Stock Market 10,000 like Joseph Boutopaglia does?
