"Ben I have no friends on line nor do I want any. How can someone be a
friend when you do not even go out and meet them face to face or at least have drink or lunch at least once. Friends and money are
contradictions in terms.

Protect yourself and BE SKEPTICAL."

I totally disagree with you, you don't need to meet someone face to
face and have drinks together to have friends. You can have pen pal
friends by corresponding via the media, like here. I have met many
people via the posts here on SI, who I could call a friend.

Perhaps you need a definition, "a friend is a person who will stick by you through thick or thin of it, who would not do it for personnal gain but because they care to help you unselfishly. A friend is one who would go out of his/her way to help you."

I have met many people face to face, whose only intentions was to get something out of me because I had something they needed. They were not friends but acquintances, lord knows I met many people like that. I also met a number of people who I can truly call A FRIEND. Some here on SI as well.

So, sir you do not know the meaning of the word probably because you do not have any friends but acquintances. Reach deep into your soul and tell me many how many friends you can name.

Lessen two in humanistic behaviour 101.
