Yes the "grey money" factor I am sure is a big factor in Moscow, Shanghai and maybe other places too. London and Vienna have huge Russian inflows especially in the luxury residential. London also has significant Chinese participation in purchasing of hi-end residential with many "princelings" being sent there for schools.

There is also the factor as you said of best of everything and especially the Capitals being where the power and political shenanigans are on going with the easy money policies, lots of money sloshing around. Now what will happen if/when the easy money ends and money gets tight? Will that affect the property market in those places and how?
