Thanks, but I tried using this several ways w/ no luck. I tried substituting (VariableMA511(C,89 ) in for the 'e' of Dahl (Mov(C ,50 ,E)- Ref(Mov(C,50,E),-15) ), but it says I need to use s,e,var....etc. I then made my own custom indicator named VarMA using (VariableMA511(C,89 ), but then I get the same error message when using it in Dahl. Any idea's what I'm doing wrong?
Also I'm not sure why one has to specify date array and time periods if we talking about a method of calculated MA's..ie) simple, exponential,weighted.
