engineer, wow--that was a pronto reply! Thank you. Think I got most of it with this exception: could you give a simplified primer on frequencies? Before you faint, here's what I mean. You and Michael have previously commented on wave forms whipping through the air each with its own unique pattern so that communication can take place. Now does a celluar phone send/receive these wave forms utilizing radio frequency (RF)? Is that why the phones contain RF processors? Is all air based communication conducted in RF or are there other "platforms" on which these wave forms "ride"? I'm obviously trying to understand the distinction between frequency and wave forms. Don't worry about not knowing the price of ASICs--if we believe the bears running rampant in tech stocks, ASICs and every other damn thing are going to be priced at the bubble gum level.
