Koan, you read "Under the Banner of Heaven", and have extrapolated the experience of ONE Mormon fundie family to all Mormons. I live here, surrounded by a million Mormons and can tell you, that isn't the case. Get over it.

The events portrayed in that book, which I've read, happen in dysfunctional families all over America every day, from every belief system. Even agnostic atheists like you!
