We DVR series premiers and if we like them we record the entire series. We are using DISH now, and our set top is called a "Hopper." When we go to watch something we've recorded we have the option of skipping commercials. One of our favorite things to do after dinner and the day is done is to be entertained by an action packed, dramatic TV show. We only watch one or two a night, and find it to be very relaxing.

One thing I find particularly obnoxious is the Publisher's Clearing House commercials.
