My point is that increasing debt is NOT a good thing to do at this time, particularly for consumption, which is what you and others on the Left promote; food stamps, unemployment benefits, Medicare/Medicaid, Obamacare, all of it -- serves to leave the country weak. Even though someone might be willing to buy it.

You don't just solve all problems by running out and borrowing money. You work through the hard times as they happen. Your alternative is to borrow money which creates one huge, insurmountable hard time for future generations.

It is pathetic.
