Mike, Just checking... You wouldn't be "Mike Boy" over on the Yahoo thread, would you? For example:
That is the one thing that has always driven me nuts is the lack of information from Cholestech
management. The company could do a lot more to market the stock. CTEC is positioning itself to
penetrate a number of different markets that are restricted to other devices because of the CLIA 88
waiver. They also have I believe five additional tests under development.

The slower penetration into the pharmacy market will obviously slow 1998 revenues. How this affects
the stock near term--who knows. The stock has moved so quickly over the last few months that it is not
surprising that it has retreated a bit.

I've had my cholesterol checked at the Walmart screening and I am impressed on how quick the
process is. I guess we should be concerned over slower pharmacy sales. Warren Pinchart, CEO, had
mentioned during the last quarterly conference that the sales to the pharmancy had been slow because
the supplier (I believe General Medical) was involve in an acquisition and their sales force was not use
to selling medical devices.

Hopefully, the sales will meet analyst expectations.

They should also be receiving the CLIA 88 waiver on the Renal panel that they received FDA 510
clearance on. I would think that this would give the stock a little bump.</b)
If so, it's going to be a bit easier tracking you posts now. If not, we need to get back there and read now and again... "Mike Boy" did a great job! :-) .. dlo
