My point. We have the most powerful military in world history. And we have been at war for more than a decade with a couple of two bit countries.

So our superior firepower has not been much of a help in achieving peace. Saying that it does is pretty obviously stupid and uninformed. Not to mention completely oblivious to the real world.

Peace comes from understanding the world as it actually is. And being smart enough not to wade into illegal, preemptive wars for no good reason.

You do realize that Dr. Strangelove was a biting satire on war mongers?
