It would be great if it worked. But we know the outcome; it doesn't get better from here, only worse.

"Working" is defined differently in thoughtful minds, though, than the way it is defined in yours. In your mind, it is perfectly acceptable to provide medical care to today's population by dumping the debt on future generations. In my mind, that is an unforgivable moral outrage. And this is the most fundamental of many differences between your view and mine.

There is also the fact the government has shown itself incapable of delivering good health care on this scale. Only private enterprise can do that.

If that were a factor I would consider it. Unfortunately, it is clear that Obamacare will do neither, and will in fact have the opposite effect of killing people (already happening) and making it more difficult for sick people to get treated.

I think people are better off with affordable health care, and health care is less affordable now than before ACA.
