dvd is finally here and is just getting a good start. sales will grow from just sales of encore which looks pretty good to me. not sure if i read the box right but can you use the dvd on your tv? could this be why creative made the 2 aquisitions they did. home entertainment is a BIG market, even bigger than pc's.
and with the current valuations on the stock, i recommend buying at these levels. if it goes lower, consider buying more. price to sales right now is less tha 1.5 and adjusting for cash and debt, it is less than 1.0. every book i have read and every stock with decent margins that i have followed these are winning combinations.
but be advised, price may drop further before going up as this is the market. i can give examples of companies from the past which i watched go up and had low psr's when they were being sold off in the tech bear market a year or so ago. most have doubled or better.
during these time of "panic" and selling, that is the time when you have to do the math to find which companies offer the best chance for rewards. it appears that creative meets the criteria as do a few others.
but there are some which have a lot further to fall.
just my opinion
