Joan, I think that AG is one of the better financial engineers we have had for some time, and I am betting he indeed can engineer a soft landing. In my book, a soft landing will be no real recession next year just slowing down of the growth rate of the GDP to an average of 1.5% for the year (vs the torrential 3.6% or so we are having now). Yet, I feel the market is going to predict yet another recession that will not happen by getting us a short but painful bear market (25% from top is a bear market , is it not?). I do not think we will get two consecutive negative growth in GDP, which is usually the halmark of a recession. Zeev
