The organizers of this rally can't really believe that FERC would deny a permit because some of the gas may be produced from wells that were hydraulically fractured. This is a feel-good protest to make the organizers and participants feel righteous with no chance of accomplishing the stated goal of getting FERC to stop Cove Point.
