The Constitution worked well for a long time, but it needs a few fixes now. Repeal the 16th/17th, term limits, balanced budget, other sensible repairs. Get rid of the nonsense that is stifling economic growth.

The Constitution did not anticipate the ignorance and complacency of voters. The idea was that if a president was terrible, he would be voted out. If a Senator was terrible, he wouldn't stay long. But the power of incumbency is great. And that's why Citizens United was a totally sensible decision; it dilutes the power of incumbency.
