After spending the afternoon reading the last several days of posts I have concluded you have some knowledge of the technical issues of wireless communications but that's about it.
Ask not, "Why are these idiots paying $70 ARPU?" Ask, "What value could 1 million people see in the direct connect service." IOW, do not try to prove the market wrong, try to understand what the market is telling you. The fact that this many people are paying that much money tells you something is up. Try to understand why rather than assuming they are all wrongheaded.
CMcC has done EVRYTHING and more he said in April 1995. He took a company from zero to $11 billion in value. Until you prove your credentials, give him the benefit of the doubt.
Please don't contradict yourself and ask the same question after it has already been directly answered. Like the boy who cried wolf, you may actually have a point one day, (I'm not holding my breath), and you will have lost your credibility and the big bad wolf, (bear) will eat you.
