That boob made some legitimate observations about changes in trade patterns that had occurred since Ricardo. As near as I know he didn't explain why. His work there was probably worth light applause. Most of his blabber since has been worse than worthless.

As to Nobel prizes, the nominating committee is largely made up of people who confuse their hopes and intuitions with subjective reality.
