Let's face it, with todays 'fingertip' access to the world, the edge that they {mm's} held are are on a serious spiral downward.
The 20 bil, that {his company} manages will slowly be dwindling away as we are much more readily available to the resources that have been used for years.. {Not just a bunch of good 'ole boys getting together, buying blocs, and the pump/dump, doubling & tripling their investment and on to the next}.
For example, I called my personal broker back in the beginning of May, {one I have boughten LARGE caps thru in the past}, and I wanted to buy a BB stock..
His reply? He tried to sell me CISCO, which more then likely they {Edward D. Jones} had a ton of to dump and then said come back when you want to do some Real Investing.
Since then, {for the first few months, at least} I printed copies of my transactions, +10%, +50% and doubles & triples, mailed them to him..
As of yet, he has not yet asked me to stop sending them...and the only time I guarantee that we will ever speak, is if for chance we happen to meet somewhere on the planet.. And trust me, I know that the words spoken will be what I say to every stranger I meet-=> Hello!
And, my view of MM's nowadays? Pardon me Mr./Mrs. Smith is that the rules HAVE changed...
It is only now that it is: It's my world baby, and your just living in it.. Instead of the way it used to be.
Whew, I'm done... Sorry everyone, but let us now get down to business, or if the 'Master's of the thread' would like, I would be more than happy to create a mailing list {from today's postings} and 'distribute' the POW to all who have participated so far in the positive direction of this thread.
