Those are the obvious enticements but they haven't proven to be as compelling on pads.

Processors - meh... fast enough, efficient enough for most people

Better Camera - makes sense on a phone, for business purposes or pretty scenes or what ever, what are you going to do at home, take a picture of your kitchen?

Better screen - how many pixels do you need - maybe from the first low res pads

Larger Storage - again on a phone you need more music, take pictures - on a pad at home you already have huge amounts of storage on your computer. I'm assuming that people with pads usually have computers. My guess is over 90% have computers.

Battery? - not hard to charge at home

Not saying these are factors for everyone, just comparing them to how useful/necessary they are on a phone vs a pad.
