I think a larger form-factor iPad would find a market in business and and home. But it is really hard for me to think of improvements that would make me ditch my current one and buy a new one. OTOH, my daughter is a speech pathologist who works with autistic children. For every single one she treats the iPad becomes central to the treatment. Her office has them mounted on the walls, where kids can walk up to them to communicate on the fly. I was in a small shop today where the iPad was the cash register; I paid my $260 and he handed it to me to put in my email address so the receipt could be mailed to me. Our local racetrack, last year, rolled out betting on iOS & Android devices within the track. Everyone in the place was walking around last season making bets and cashing tickets on their tablets. The thing that will sell devices in the future is good software ideas.
