I'm assuming the big phone will be more. The 6 will cost the same even with a sapphire screen.

1) I'm not rich but I don't think $150 is a huge difference to pay amortized over 2 years. Particularly if it obviates the need for a pad. - the contract is the bigger part of the deal

2) I don't think the target audience would care about $150 over 2 years - that's dinner for 2 in a really good restaurant.

3) Its likely that Apple will be able to keep up on the larger phone initially.
