I would really like to know, if the Jews cannot have the land they built, what do you and other liberals expect they will do? Well, at the very least they need to stop the ethnic cleansing of the Palestinians. And try treating them with a little respect instead of doing things like controlling to amount of food going into Gaza to keep them on the edge of starvation. If they wonder why the Palestinians hate them so much, those are not things that endear a population to you. Which is not to say that the Palestinians would necessarily start behaving. But the moral high ground gets you more support. No one is saying they should leave, although if they got a sudden pining for the Falklands I wouldn't be broken up about it. But the settlements have got to stop. Some of them need to be torn down.
