Hello again Frank. That sounds like a good deal for Metastock Depending on how much you are paying for the Reuters end of day service. I use Quotes Plus for my end of day service. It costs me a little over $11 bucks a month. It normally costs $12.95 a month if you get your data over the internet. You get a 10% discount if you buy a 6 month subscription. You can try it for free at webcom.com. You can set up the software that comes with Quotes plus to automatically update your existing Metastock files which can be used with Metastock or Supercharts. Quotes plus also comes with its own screening and charting software. The charting software does not come close to comparing to metastock or supercharts but it is good for looking up charts real quick.

Techinical Analysis from A to Z by Steven B. Achellis is a good book about technical analysis. Also Technical Analysis a Personal Seminar by the New York Institute of Finance is also a good choice for Charting.

If you are a beginner to TA, I would probably have to recommend Metastock over Supercharts. It is a little bit easier to use.
