That is correct. And they shouldn't. Because they've been given every opportunity to have their own state. In fact, the original UN Partition Plan you referred to called for the creation of two states. Instead, the Arab nations ganged up on Israel immediately and started a war.

Had hard borders been created in 1947, and had the Arabs not attacked Israel time after time, those borders would have held and the Palestinians would have had their land. The problem is they don't want Palestinian land; they want Israel's land.

The responsibility for this entire mess is on the Arabs who never, not for one day even, acknowledged the State of Israel or even its right to exist. The Jews support the two-state solution and AFAIK, did in 1947 as well.

I cannot understand siding with the neighborhood bullies who can't take yes for an answer.
