Having said that, now let us see what the Congress is doing to provide those opportunities by way of scholarships etc.

Congress is worthless at this point we both know that. Big question is how can we change things given the parameters of the divide we currently face? Right now the Fed is the only game in town. If both sides continue to be extreme the only way out is one party controlling everything let one side actually govern for four years. Perhaps the electorate will figure this out by the 2016 election?

My disgust with the GOP goes back over a decade ago didn't want you to think I only bash the Dems. Many of us were voicing displeasure with all the spending, deficits, wars, fed manipulation of interest rates, asset bubbles long before there was a tea party.. Little has changed still hate how radical the GOP has become as much as ever. Cheney to me is the most evil person to ever hold public office in DC..

As to the rising costs of higher education and health care and housing far exceeding inflation and wage gains the past 20+ years which party is more to blame?
