Ditto, but if you have access to those in sales, you can gather information by phone, email, etc. as well. And yes, of course reports as to specific trends and the like will be anecdotal, but verification that basic economics are in play (higher prices lead to a lesser quantity demanded) can be overwhelmingly verified. If the bulk of consumers didn't blink at a tripling of post-subsidy price from $99 to $299, no phones would sell at the lower points, as margins could be vastly expanded by taking advantage of the inelasticity.
