So not only did California raise taxes but the federal government too. So despite dire warnings from your fav economist that this would crush the recovery it didn't according to your article here. Keynes was very much against raising taxes during a slowing economy - he advocated lowering taxes. That is part of Keynesian economics for gosh sakes!!! ..........What raising taxes does do - unless the economy is tanking - is help the deficit. Tada!
