LOL! Antarctic sea-ice isn't growing as much as we thought. The media scam is in full operative mode during mid-summer. It's time to fudge data and crank out the records. news.yahoo.com However, this article brings up a great point. Satellite instruments undergo time-decay from being exposed to radiation and high energy particles in space. There's also orbital variations. It's difficult to calibrate signals with different instruments measuring the same radiance, which then must be mathematically transformed into temperature. It's hard. The big question: if there is potential satellite error with the Antarctic sea ice, then is everything else being measured OK?
