My gut is many of the slow growth midwest markets get back to peak a heck of a lot sooner than Zillow expects as these low interest rates are here for a few more years at least. What would drive the higher prices? Most Midwest markets are experiencing anemic employment and income growth. And they have lots of flat land on which to build.
