Elijah Cummings admits he doesn’t know fellow committee member’s name

The top Democrat on the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee doesn’t know all of his own committee members’ names.

Maryland Rep. Elijah Cummings admitted in Wednesday’s oversight hearing on the IRS missing emails scandal that he hasn’t bothered to reach across the aisle to learn his fellow committee members’ names.

“Mr. Chairman, you, uh-,” Cummings said. “This has been very interesting because one member on your side, the gentleman, I don’t know his name, said that the man was under investigation…”
