Speaking of deer, this year in North Dakota we have a yearling that has made her home on the homestead. My brother and his wife are making sure the deer gets feed - else she will eat the crops. They currently have two horses that are boarding. My grandnephew's girl friend needed a place for them and he decided to put up a fence for them. There is a 100 foot barn, but the cattle have been gone for a couple of years. My nephew the farmer sold his herd of cattle because his children did not want to care for them in the winter. He farms in Arizona in the winter and North Dakota in the summer. He has a son thay manages the farming in Arizona in the summer.
