lets start some discussion.. im interested in Trading mutual funds... buying and selling.. my system would have avg trade lengths of 6-8 months each trade. i did a comparsion on Fidelty magellan from 1994-now: buy n' hold : 86% total return my system: 83% total return im new to mutual funds and started looking at them ... my dad manages them but im trying to make our returns even better. any thoughts or comments?? is it worthwhile?
