Even Christians today, they believe that the Jews will fight the battle of Armageddon so the Messiah comes. When the Messiah come he will give the Jews the choice to convert to Christianity or perish.
It's really a sick joke. The Israelis humor the dumbass fundie Christians that believe this for their support. After all, from their point of view, all of Christianity was founded by a Jew they consider a false or failed Messiah.

The Christians never tell they Israelis that they are going to have to accept Jesus or die in the Tribulations. Or, if they do, the Israelis just guffaw up their sleeves!

Each side is using the other for their own ends.
