Interesting timing. As I was just working, MS Dev caused an NT hang (only remedy, power off reboot). Now that is the kind of reliability I want in a machine that is handling my stock and banking transactions? I would not even subject your money to that. You see, MSFT just does not understand the enterprise. The enterprise is where the money is. That is why IBM has 5X the revenues of MSFT. And, Unless MSFT can successfuly compete in the enterprise market, they will only diminish in significance. Mr. Gates understands that very well. In answer to your question about marketing RMIL, MSFT successfully marketed Windows 3.11 against OS/2 2.1. Now, if you have any understanding of O/S's at all, you will see that quality is not what sells a product.
