<.Point taken. :-) That is a good name, too. I should not have made my last comment about you. I apologize for it, bc it was stooping far too low...>
Perhaps because I am fairly used to them, I do not recall what you apologize for, but I do accept your apology. In fact, I wasn't refering to you. I was refering to NJBarkboy's post that PP addressed.
<..I have met Pat a few times and I just have a very hard time conceiving how someone could be bitter towards her...>
You seemingly had not read my post to Pat which came after the one you responded to.
<..She is very smart, generous, enthusiastic and funny and I just wish you knew that. That's all...>
While not meeting her, I certainly have ample cause to agree with your evaluation of her. I would add witty, literate, and charming to this list. I am sure she is also very attractive. All wonderful qualities, and essential in influencing people - a quintessential salesperson.
Though as my "soap opera" post clarifies, I have also had the non-mutually exclusive experience of her being dishonest, unscrupulous, untrustworthy, irresponsible, disingenuous and vain (to the point of being totally unwilling to own up to her transgressions).
You obviously did NOT have this experience, and for that you should feel fortunate. This however does not diminish the validity of my experiences with her as I have reported recently here.
Hope this (and my previous post to her) explains my perspective a little more clearly.
