The whole world would LOVE to draw the distinction between Palestinians and Hamas, but right now Israel doesn't have that choice. Israel doesn't have a choice? Seriously?
Hamas has deliberately taken it away by placing rockets, arms, and other weapons of war in the middle of civilian population centers. Have you seen Gaza the most densely populated city in the world? Hamas is the government there that mean, schools, hospitals, shelters, municipal infrastructures, etc. are government property, thus, under Hamas control. Under this pretext, Israel is killing innocent civilians.
They want to see civilians on BOTH sides die, both Israeli and Palestinian. Huh, from the looks of things, only innocent Palestinians are being killed on the hand of the Israelis.
That's why you see such a huge discrepancy in the number of civilians killed on each side of the conflict. Hamas is forcing Israel to make a choice. Again, Seriously? Hamas is forcing the nuclear power Israel to make a choice?
Either Israel sits idly by and watches their own citizens die due to rockets and kidnappings, or they protect their own and go after these arms being placed behind human shields. Wow, are these facts or rehashing an old script (2008-2009)?
